Improve Your Bankroll by Analyzing Yourself One of the best ways to improve your bankroll has nothing to do with analyzing games and having the ability to pick the right side. It is a tool that you and only you can perfect which will increase your bankroll dramatically. You can simply improve your bankroll by keeping records of all of your bets and […]
NL Central Preview: Houston Astros Pitchers Roy Oswalt is the ace of the staff for the Astros and one of the best pitchers in the league. Oswalt has some sterling numbers against the majority teams in the league. Against the Diamondbacks he is 7-1 (team record) in his last 8 starts with a 1.18 WHIP and 2.57 ERA. Against the Reds […]
NL Central Preview: Cincinnati Reds Pitchers Cincinnati has one of the better pitchers in the National League in Aaron Harang. You usually get great value with Harang since he is not a household name and the Reds have not been very good the last few years. The remainder of the staff consists of Bronson Arroyo, Jose Cueto, Eddie Volquez and Josh […]
NL Central Preview: Chicago Cubs Pitchers Cubs come into this season with much hoopla surrounding their 100th anniversary of their last World Series win. NL East Preview: Atlanta Braves Pitchers Atlanta has the most experienced pitching staff in the National League East and should get back to being the cream of the crop if the old folks can hold up all year. Welcome to the American Sports Handicapping Network!
The American Sports Handicapping Network is a creation of two individuals who share a passion for sports handicapping and sports betting. This network was spawned from another handicapping website, FixerWins.com by Ed who goes by the handle of "FixerWins" and Rick who goes by the handle of "ProfessorWins".
We have been handicapping and betting sports a combined 50+ years and with the dawn of the internet gained a following at public posting forums in the late 90's. At the time, we were just looking for a place to share information that would help our individual handicapping. Due to the large following we gained from our success at the forums, in 2001 we decided to start our own handicapping business. Our goal was to bring honesty and legitimacy to an industry filled with people preying on gullible and nieve individuals. After 6 years in the business we decided it was simply too hard to compete based on honesty and integrity in such a crooked business and we decided to leave the business in 2007 and focus on the American Sports Handicapping Network.
The American Sports Handicapping Network is designed to bring people together who share a passion for sports handicapping and would like to share their thoughts, angles and information in exchange for other handicapping enthusiasts' information in the never ending quest to beat the point spread. It is for people who want to do this without all of the nonsense that is associated with the handicapping industry. On this site, you will find our experiences about everything we have encountered in the industry along with quality information from accomplished handicappers. The ASHN is not designed to "sell picks", but designed to help you become a better handicapper and to learn the truth about becoming a successful handicapper and sports bettor. It is also designed to let you in on the inner workings of how handicapping services operate and how most continue to be successful with worse records than you could ever imagine. We are here to help build the confidence in you. To help you realize that with the proper handicapping fundamentals and bankroll management, you can become a successful player without falling for gimmicks!
To help you become a successful player the American Sports Handicapping Network offers:
