This thread intended for shorter term "trends", as opposed to the longer term Angles.

Best "trend" is one with as big a sample as possible of course, but more important, having as many similar components as possible.

Many are rather simple.

Let's NUMBER these as well, so that they can be updated when pertinent in later Replies.

Through tonight's nice road romp of Golden State, here's some interesting numbers on Orlando since Dec 1

19 games, 12 Home and 7 Away

Orlando is 7-12 ATS in the 3Q
3Q Totals are 6-13
4Q Totals are 5-14
Opponent 2H teamtotals are 5-14

Interesting spots coming up with them at LAK and at PHX so the Totals lines should be a bit higher and possibly remain beatable by staying low.

INDIANA season to date through Jan 10

15 Home games

Pacers 2-12-1 ATS in 1Q

7-8 ats in 2Q

11-4 ATS in 3Q

3Q Totals are 5-10

This goes back to last year but I have to dig up the notes I took.

Pacers have a decent pattern of playing 3Q with very strong intensity on defense. Pure-D halfcourt VanGundy style slogball all the way.

And guess who's at Home on Friday? Pacers host Dallas where they'll likely get at least a point per quarter ATS versus a Mavericks team that is a TopTier defense.
