probably crazy for making a pick on this game, but i am sick of hearing how great the american league is and the national league cannot beat them. it ends tonight (i think)


national league +1.5 (-113) vs american league (2 units)......i really feel that the nationals will win tonight, but for the difference of +136 to -113, i feel better getting a run and a half in case the national league loses a heartbreaker. i have no real reason for why except i am rooting for the nl and i think the odds are in favor of the nl. i know both teams want this, but i feel the national league wants it more.


at least ryan howard of my phillies won the hr derby last night, that was great!

I actually agree with you. My train of thought is that all baseball all-star games should be within -120. Baseball odds are usually based on pitchers, but with each pitcher throwing an inning for each game that makes it a crap shoot and virtually a pick em game as anything could happen. With all the attention given to AL winning going 8-0-1 last 9 and the dominance of interleague play it has driven the market up to about +140 on the NL, which I think would make a value play on the NL.
