a few notes about the Sox afternoon tilt...Sox are 7-0 this year when -175 to -200 at home and 27-7 the last 3 years, their also 10-1 in interleague action and 9-2 against Philly the last 3 seasons....Papelbon is well rested for today out in the pen and he's allowed 1 run in 34 innings of work :!: I wouldn't touch this game with a ten foot pole because of the juice but I'm just throwing this info out there.

a great start after coming back from vacation as my "goofy plays" continue to win. i don't know how much longer it will continue, but it has put me back in the game after being down over 40 units. my plays are stupid, and don't make any sense, but they are winning. that is the bottom line.


cubs +110 vs milwaukee (3 units)...............the guy pitching for the brewers has been superb. he might be the best pitcher in baseball that nobody knows about, at least it used to be that way. he has got alot of press lately and rightly so. now you can get him real cheap against a cubs team who cannot hit the ball and they suck. he should shut them down completely. so i know if i loaded up on the brewers he will probably have his shortest outing of the year. i think i will take the pathetic cubs.

florida -137 vs tampa bay (3 units).................florida making strides in the nl east, but the only reason they have moved up is the rest of the nl east, besides the mets have stunk. i think it is a well known fact how well tampa bay plays in interleague play, so how could you not take them as a dog vs florida. you would have to be goofy to take the fish. you all know i am goofy, give me the marlins.

atlanta +155 vs yankees (2 units).............big deal, atlanta won yesterday. they still suck and they are still in last place and now they have to face the mighty yankees and randy johnson. does not seem like much of a chance for the braves does it. of course not, that is why i am on the braves.

st louis -115 vs cleveland (2 units)...................st louis has really fallen on hard times lately. lee for the indians has pitched well his last three starts. the indians have the better pitcher and are playing better right now than the cards and you can get them as a dog. makes sense to try the dog in a game like this. of course i don't make sense anymore at all. i will try the cards.

the next two one unit plays will be my usual don't seem to have a chance reasoning, all i need is a split on these two to make money.

houston +148 vs detroit


i can't imagine doing as well as yesterday again, but who knows.
