2* UNDER 190 San Antonio/Portland: The Spurs have a long history of playing UNDER in early season home games going 3-20 UNDER since 1995 (1-12 UNDER since 2000) when playing as a home favorite in one of their first 5 games of the season. The rationale is actually quite solid as San Antonio is almost always a very good defensive team, and defenses tend to be ready for the regular season before the offense catches up. These two teams average 180.7 pts per game in games played here in San Antonio over the years, and I see no reason why this game should be much higher than that. Take the UNDER here tonight to get us started with this NBA season.
