2-0 so far since I started betting on the Presidential Election thanks to the boom of online gambling. Note that these are not my endorsements of any candidate but they are the candidate that I have handicapped to win the presidency. Let's see if we can make it 3-0 here.
5* BARACK OBAMA -125
After the 2007 elections with the Democrats cleaning house in all major categories I have the feeling that the American People will be looking for change in the White House. I feel that most will be voting Democrat regardless of the candidate as they are looking for change. Especially with the 2nd tenure of Bush Jr. being ridiculously worse than the first tenure and making us yearn for what now seems like the "Glory Days" of the Clinton Administration.
I usually wait until after the races are set from the primaries and would rather take a worse number and have a better chance at winning from getting the pulse of America. But I think I have that now after Obama's 8 straight wins that has put him ahead of H. Clinton. I have a really strong feeling that America is going Democrat and Obama will be getting the nod at the primary, so I decided to jump on him now at what is a decent number. The same book I got this number from, had under the prop bets that the next president will be Democrat at -200, and that will more than likely be the post-Convention number. So we are getting a good number here with Mr. Obama. Again I already feel he has H. Clinton beat already, and McCain doesn't even fully have the support of his own party as he is a moderate Repulican. This has the potential for a disastrous elections among the Republican party.
From a personal standpoint:
For the friends of online gambling and sports betting. You simply can not vote for McCain. The guy helped try to legislate the Kyl bill which was a gambling prohibition bill before UIGEA, and wants to outlaw all land based College Sports betting.
