The Mets have been solid as a road underdog going 9-2 this year when +100 to +125 on the road and their also on a current overall 10-1 road streak. While the Red Sox were laboring through a 12 inning marathon with the Phillies yesterday the Mets were in town resting and watching the Sox eat up all of there bullpen arms. The Mets are 6-2 this year after an off day, 32-16 in night games, and 26-14 against teams with winning records. Soler has been a great surprise for them as he’s 2-0 with a 2.33 ERA over his last 4 starts including going 2-0 with a 0.56 ERA in two road starts, he’ll be backed up by a bullpen with a 2.45 road ERA. The Red Sox have been red hot but over the last few seasons they’ve struggled when facing a pitcher for the first time so Soler could have another solid outing tonight.
