Three plays for Tuesday: CBB 5*s are 2-0 so far.

5* LOYOLA-MD +6 over Seton Hall

Seton Hall probably shouldn’t even be favored in this game, but they are because they are a much more well known school. Seton Hall is 2-0 on the season, but allowed 47.6% shooting to Monmouth and 54.9% shooting to Robert Morris. They only survived those two games because they forced 20 and 23 turnovers, respectively. That said, Loyola-MD will not turn the ball over like those two schools did as they have three very good guards that all were in the starting lineup last year. What’s more, they should shoot a similar percentage as Seton Hall’s two previous opponents (and even better with the long ball). Loyola is a very solid 18-7 ATS as a dog last 2 seasons, and they are 20-4 ATS on the road. They are also 12-1 ATS last 13 non-conference games, so I have no problem playing them here as a 5* side.

2* INDIANA ST -11.5 over No Illinois

This is the fifth consecutive away game for Northern Illinois before they finally return home for their next game. They are 0-4 SU in their first four, and turnovers has been a huge problem (28, 17 and 23 their last three games). Forcing turnovers is what Indiana St does best as they are averaging 17 forced turnovers per game thus far. And, with them coming into this game off consecutive road losses as dogs at Butler and No Texas, we can be assured we are getting a team hungry for a win. Lay the number here with Indiana St

2* IONA +18 over Old Dominion

ODU has North Carolina and Georgetown on deck over the next week, so don’t figure them to be looking to blowout IONA here and instead use this game to fix what went wrong against Clemson before taking on there next two giants. Iona, meanwhile, is 0-3 and looking to simply compete here off a 35 pt loss at North Carolina on Sunday. Take the points as Iona keeps this one within the number.
