I am passing the afternoon games (all those that start at 5pm or earlier). I have no concluded my handicapping on the evening games, so please check back at 5pm Sunday for my Sunday CBB plays.

2* MIAMI-FL -1.5 over Providence:

Miami has allowed its three opponents 33.9%, 40%, and 36.7% shooting so far this season. They should be able to handle a Providence team that is not a very good shooting team.

2* NC STATE -18.5 over New Orleans:

NC State should dominate this game from start to finish. They are off a very impressive win over William&Mary where they held them to just 29.1% shooting. New Orleans is completely overmatched here today, and just barely hung on to beat Northwestern St 72-66 in their opener a couple days ago despite shooting 53.8% from the floor and allowing Northwestern St just 37.5%. Lay the points here with NC State.

2* FLORIDA STATE -7 over So Florida:

Big disparity here between my ratings and this line. My ratings indicate that FSU should be favored by double digits (11 pts). The drop in the line is probably a direct result of Florida St losing last outing to Cleveland State, so in reality we are getting some extra value here with Florida State as they look to bounce-back from that bad loss.
